Colorful and diverse – 3 days Brandenburg in London

The aim of the presentation is to promote the Land Brandenburg, both among the general public and in defined specialist circles.

The highlights of the presentation are the reception for the Day of German Unity and the concert with the UFA-film “The Last Laugh” live accompanied by the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.

A Business Delegation with plenty of companies from the German capital region Berlin-Brandenburg uses the opportunity to find or resume business contacts, or open up new opportunities for cooperation in the capital of Great Britain and beyond.

Teams of young people from Brandenburg and Britain will take part in a street football competition.

Trainees of the Oberstufenzentrum II of the district Spree-Neiße will discuss doing business in an intercultural environment within a "Tea Time-Talk".

Brandenburg introduces parks designed by the great park enthusiats and designer of the English landscape garden on the European continent, Prince Pückler.

Tourism Marketing Board is meant to represent Brandenburg as a travel destination to the British.

The Media industry will have a fruitful exchange of ideas as well as presentation of projects, initiation and consolidation of contacts in the frame of a MEDIA-Meeting.

In London, Brandenburg will represent itself as a modern, high productive and innovative, as well a traditional state. A lot of players from Brandenburgs politics, media industry, youth, culture, sports and economy will contribute to the perception of the Land as an attractive and liberal-minded region with active people full of ideas.

The Minister President, Dr. Dietmar Woidke, will stay in London from October 4th to 6th, 2017 visiting several events. Further ministers and Members of the state’s Parliament will represent Brandenburg.

The Potsdamer „Lange Kerls" will be pleased to receive the guests at (almost) all events. They embody the history of Brandenburg in a very sympathetic way and are a point of attraction and contact for visitors.
