7th Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar

February 12, 2013

Thank you for a successful 7th Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar!

On February 12, 2013, around 120 participants gathered for the 7th edition of the Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar in Zurich. The day started with a prominent panel discussion of Swiss-Scandinavian financing comparison in the biotech industry followed by 16 company presentations.

The day ended with over 200 one-to-one matchmaking meetings.

In the coming days we will publish the company presentations online. See our download area, where you also can download a Catalogue of Participants in PDF-format. A photo gallery will also be published shortly.

Looking forward to meeting you in 2014!

The 7th Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar is organized by the Nordic countries in cooperation with Swiss partners. During this high-level partnering and investor conference, Swiss and Nordic biotech and pharmaceutical companies as well as investors meet in one-to-one meetings and present themselves in plenum.

The goal of the conference and by means of the Swiss-Nordic focus is to establish new contacts and networks.

  • The previous SSBBS 2012 gathered some 120 participants.
  • Over 170 one-to-one meetings took place.
  • In over 60% of the matchmaking meetings further contact was planned or a cooperation was considered

The conference has a broad focus within biotech and pharma (drug development, drug delivery, bio materials, medical device, diagnostics, contract manufacturing, CRO, etc.) and gathers small, early stage companies as well as global, commercial corporations.

The conference is open for biotech and pharma companies as well as investors within the life science industry. For other types of companies other conditions apply (e.g. participation fee for business services providers is 1500 CHF), please contact the SSBBS organization at edin.erkocevic@business-sweden.se or +43 1 402 35 15 25.
