Shopping Although normally shops are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30/4 p.m. to 7:30/ 8 p.m., in tourist areas there is a tendency to stay open from 9.30/10 a.m. to 7.30/8 p.m. with possible variations.
Money & Money exchange
Italy is in the Eurozone, so euros are the currency you will need. There are ATMs which operate (24hrs a day) and Bureau de Changes (which have late opening), located in Rome airports, so on arrival you can withdraw Euros or exchange most major currencies for euro.
