Seanergy 2017 - Marine renewable energies


Placed under the high patronage of Mr. François HOLLANDE, President of the French Republic, Seanergy 2017 Convention is the professional rendez-vous of reference - international and specifically dedicated to Marine Renewable Energy.

The aims of Seanergy Le Havre 2017 are to strengthen synergies between the stakeholders of the industry, to define its role and framework and promote its development in France and around the world : Wind offshore energy, floating wind offshore energy, wave energy, tidal stream energy, solar floating energy, osmotic energy, tidal Power, ocean thermal energy.

This convention will gather 200 exhibitors on a 6.000 sq.m area and more than 3,000 international stakeholders in the industry (manufacturers, SMEs, institutions, experts, research centers...)

Seanergy represents a/an :

  • International business event: hosts the 'MRE world' and organizes B2B meetings in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network, the largest European network for the innovation and internationalization of companies, allowing the interaction of all involved parties regardless of their industry, size and origin;
  • National political event: a pre-opening session to Seanergy will be convened in the afternoon of Tuesday 22th March. The session will be the 4th edition of the national conference on Marine Energy, a major political event organized by the French National Association for Renewable Energy.

Seanergy will also offer a program of conferences putting the 3 following strategic themes of the MRE in the spotlight:

Meet again in the new auditorium at Le Carré des Docks Le Havre Normandie for our round tables, debates and technical divided in 3 sessions of 120 minutes. Meet the political players of the MRE field and share their expertise. 

SESSION 1 – March 22nd at 3:30pm – Innovative technical solutions to simplify installation/removal during maritime maintenance phases

SESSION 2 – March 23rd at 10:30am – Underwater cable route and landfall design, concerted and hazardous tasks 

SESSION 3 – March 23rd at 3:30pm – Let’s go global! Feedback from companies exporting in all the world’s oceans
