Healthcare Brokerage Event MEDICA 2016

On the occasion of MEDICA 2016, the global No. 1 meeting place for the medical sector, ZENIT GmbH together with the Healthcare Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network will organise the international Brokerage Event. The Sector Group ICT with its subgroup Health is supporting the brokerage event. The aim is to assist enterprises, universities and research institutions in finding partners in Europe for product development, manufacturing and licensing agreements, distribution partnerships, joint ventures or other types of partnership.

This international Healthcare Brokerage Event at MEDICA fair has a tradition of more than 15 years now. In the last years the brokerage event had always more than 300 participants from about 30 countries with more than 1000 meetings.

Also in 2016: The Healthcare Brokerage Event is also a matchmaking event for the efficient valorization of research results

The current edition of the Healthcare brokerage event is co-organised by the project Fit for health 2.0 ( that provides support through the entire innovation cycle of an EU project, from first project ideas to the exploitation of research results.

This year the partnering event places particular emphasis on the efficient valorization of research results. In this sense, free of charge participation will be offered to companies & RTD performers displaying promising health research outcomes in terms of commercial exploitation and new business development. Entrepreneurs, SMEs & researchers seeking for strategic partners to bring their products and solutions to the market will explore opportunities for business creation, financial support and further public-private research collaboration.
