A brokerage event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners.
People meet and greet at high speed. Twenty minutes are usually enough to establish connections. Once this time is up, the bell rings and the next talk starts.

The workflow in detail

1) Online registration

Register online and submit your personalised research/cooperation profile.

In your profile you can state what kind of technology/products/expertise you offer a consortium, the nature of the cooperation you seek and which topics and ideas you would like to discuss with potential collaboration partners.

All cooperation profiles will be published online and will be available for everyone to see. You can change your profile any time.

Note: The better the quality of your profile, the more requests for bilateral meetings you will receive. Approval of your registration for the event is contingent upon the submission of a high quality profile.
Your profile is your business card. Therefore, spend some time creating a meaningful, high quality profile.

2) Promotion of published profiles

All published profiles will be extensively promoted by the organisers of this event. All participants of the event will be able to view your cooperation profile. An analysis of 40 matchmaking events showed that high quality profiles are visited between 50 to 150 times BEFORE the event and will continue to be viewed AFTER the event has taken place.

3) Selection of bilateral meetings

Email notification
You will be informed by email when you can start booking bilateral meetings. Check which cooperation profiles are most promising. Intelligent search options allow for a quick identification of the most suitable participants/cooperation profiles. Within a few minutes you should be able to identify potential partners.

Booking of bilateral meetings
Once you have found the most promising partners, you can select them for bilateral meetings, which will be scheduled automatically upon acceptance by the other party. You can add further meetings at any time but please be aware that the bookings are managed on the principle of 'first come, first served.' You can book meetings BUT you can also be booked for bilateral talks by other participants! For more information see FAQ.

Your personal meeting schedule
You can follow developments in your meeting schedule at any time online. A few days before the event you will receive your finalised personal meeting schedule. This schedule contains information about the time, who you will meet and the number of the table at which your meeting will take place.

Confirm your participation
For the scheduled bilateral meetings to run smoothly on the day of the event, the organiser must be sure that you will attend the event. Therefore, please be sure to either confirm or cancel your participation when asked to do so by the event organisers. Failure to inform the organisers means that all your meeting partners must be informed that the scheduled meetings are uncertain. This causes additional work and makes the event less reliable.

4) At the event

You will receive an updated version of your meeting schedule at the registration desk on the day. This updated schedule will include any last minute bookings. Your personal meeting schedule lists in chronological order for each meeting the

  • names of your conversation partners
  • number of table for each meeting

Our staff will be at your disposal for the whole duration of the matchmaking event.
