The event is jointly organized by the INDIGO POLICY and INNO INDIGO projects.

The multilateral cooperation between European member states and associated countries as well as India has gained momentum. New INDIGO, an ERANET project funded by European Commision and now concluded,  contributed to this enhancement by implementing four calls for proposals enabling growing networks of European and Indian researchers. New INDIGO proved to be a platform for stakeholders discussing and exchanging information on the interests of their respective research policies in order to implement joint activities in mutual agreement.

Aiming at continuing the fruitful cooperation and further fostering the multilateral STI cooperation two projects started in November 2013. On the one hand INNO INDIGO focuses on the actual scientific collaboration by bringing together funders in order to implement calls for proposals. On the other hand INDIGO POLICY supports the policy dialogue going on between European MS / AC, Indian stakeholders and the European commission as well as feeds it with necessary analysis and activities.

Both projects work closely together in order to maximize synergies.
