  • Want to know what is new and exciting in connected health and health care technology?
  • Want to get your idea or business to the next level ?

Then join us in Boston on October 21-22 - it’s going to be the BEST yet!

Aimed at all those with an interest in eHealth and mHealth from across the United States and Europe this event offers engaging and informative inputs from international leaders in connected health. The ‘Marketplace’ approach has proven to be successful at previous events in Boston, Dublin and Athens.

Designed to stimulate and generate meaningful business opportunities and relationships, this Fall’s Boston Marketplace will feature several participating companies and organizations, with a focus on ’meeting’ rather than ‘showcasing’.  ECHAlliance are all about connecting people; we’re a friendly lot and, like you, are keen to meet and make new business connections this October. We’d love to make your acquaintance.

We are working to ensure that this event surpasses all expectations, we’re working closely with NIMAC, colleagues in the US and Europe and with ECHAlliance members.

This exciting initiative is inspired by the DHHS(US) - EC(EU) Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Surrounding Health Related Information and Communication Technologies, which encourages the development of effective collaborations to deliver real and tangible benefits to citizens in Europe and the USA.

The central topics

  • Accelerating the deployment of eHealth at scale by overcoming the barriers to success
  • Breaking down the ‘silos’ to doing business through open and a focused approach to Ecosystem networks
  • Grasping economic opportunities for cooperation across the Atlantic
  • Comparisons between EU-US Integrated Care / Managed Care – do opportunities exist
  • Patient Portable data – Transforming Healthcare, benefitting patients
  • Funding opportunities EU-US – including HORIZON 2020
  • Workforce/eSkills – US and EU approaches to health IT
  • The Cloud – Research and Risk Stratification
  • Shark Tank - SMEs presenting innovative solutions

What will you get out of it?

This multi-sector approach will deliver benefits through effective networking, as well as providing opportunities for:

  • governments and agencies
to present their needs to a European and American audience and to hear about innovations and best practices already existing or in the pipeline
  • industry/companies
(large and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to identify sales opportunities, licensing deals, joint ventures, distribution agreements
  • research institutions
to plan collaborative research, to agree partnership arrangements for grant and other funding opportunities

Join the matchmaking meetings*:

Know who you’d like to meet? It’s easy with our online approach to providing pre-arranged matchmaking allowing for up to 12 x 15 minute meetings. Register and see who else it would make good business sense to connect with. We had almost 20,000 profile views of 140 delegates to a previous event, so not only will you benefit from the meetings in the moment but the ripple effects continue.

Not only with you be able to connect EU-US but also US-US and EU-EU.

Of course there will also be plenty of time for general networking, so bring lots of business cards.

An important part of the Marketplace will be the pop-up exhibitions, meaning no pre-built exhibitions stands. We expect a high demand for places from companies and organizations.
