Why do I not receive any meeting request or very few?

  • None?  Have you activated the B2B meeting checkbox?
  • Only a few?  -  Make sure you have inserted a detailed cooperation profile that outlines the scope of your offer and collaboration wishes.
    A quality profile is more likely to incite other companies to get in touch with you and invite you to meetings.


Why publish a high quality cooperation profile?

  • Cooperation profiles give you the opportunity to publish and promote your collaboration wishes before and after the event.
  • Event participants but also any other web user can find and read your organisation details and your partnering wishes
  • A statistical analysis of 500 matchmaking events showed that high quality profiles are visited about 50 to 150 times.
  • The better quality your profile is, the more meeting requests you will receive at the end.


How does the matchmaking work?

Each participant registers with a cooperation profile which is published on the event's website. Before the event, each participant select meetings with the participants they would like to talk to. Several days before the event, each participant will receive a meeting schedule, showing who he will meet with, when and where.

Important: your meeting requests are considered as accepted as long as they are not declined. 

Meetings are 30 minutes long which is usually enough time to forge business/research/technological connections. At the end of each session the bell rings and the next meeting starts.

What are the benefits of taking part?

Participants have the opportunity to present online their expertise/projects/technologies BEFORE the event. The cooperation profiles are promoted on the web. Registered participants can get in contact with each other before the event and find out precisely who they will meet at the event. A partnering event is therefore a very efficient and focussed way to network and find new collaboration partners.


How to register?

Click on the green button  "Register" on the home page to start the registration process.  


What type of information do I need to fill in the registration form?

  • Form 1: Event sessions, Remarks for the event organizers if applicable
  • Form 2: Contact data (Person and Company) - Give some information about the organisation you are working for, its focus and areas of activity.
  • Form 3: Cooperation profile
    IMPORTANT: You must fill in a detailed cooperation profile in order to complete the last step of your registration and therefore be able to book meetings / be invited to meetings.
    Please provide details on your technology / product / research project, innovative aspects, current stage of development, IP and the target partner sought.
    The cooperation profile is your virtual business card - the higher the quality the more participants will invite you to meetings!


What is the meaning of "support office"?

Your "Support Office" is your Enterprise Europe Network office in your country and/or region. If it is is not listed in the drop-down menu, please select "Other" and the main organisers of the event will signpost you.



You can choose a password during the registration.

Password forgotten?
Click on the Login button. There you will find a link "Forgot password?". Use this link to receive an email with further instructions.
PS: The registration email contains an "Autologin Link". Via this link you can directly sign-in to your personal Dashboard without having to enter your email address and password.

How to change your password?
Please log in with your Autologin link (this is provided in the notification email you received just after your registration) and go to Change Password


Collaboration Profiles - Is it possible to insert more than one profile?

Yes, it is. Every participant has the possibility to insert several profiles. Please note that profiles are associated with participants.
The same organisation can be registered several times with different participants (contact persons).


Is it possible to modify my profile?

Yes, it is. Log in via the Login button or the Autologin link you have received with your registration mail.
In your personal Dashboard you can use the tabs to modify any of the content you have already inserted.

When will my profile be available online? Every profile will be quality checked by the event organizer.
If it meets the quality criteria it will be put online, if not, you will be contacted by the event organizer to adapt your profile.


How can I book meetings?

Booking is usualy opened about 3-4 weeks before the event after most of the participants have registered and added their profile.
You will be informed by email about the start of the booking process.

  1. Select the link "Participants" from the main menu.
  2. Use the green button "Book meetings" which you can find on each participants profile 

Your guest will receive a notification from the website about this invite.


Can I decline a meeting request?

Yes of course.

  1. In your Dashboard select the Tab "Meetings" to list all meeting requests (Own bookings and Guest bookings).
  2. Use the button "Reject" to refuse a meeting request. A notification will be sent to the person who invited you

Important: this event is operated on an 'Opt-Out booking mode' so meeting requests are accepted by default - however they can be rejected.
What is the reason behind this?  Experiences have shown that less than 10% of the meeting requests are rejected so the booking mode "Opt-Out" keeps the administration tasks low for the majority (90%) of participants by not asking them to confirm a request they would accept anyway. As a result there is less email traffic, less pending meeting requests waiting for approval, etc.


When will I get my personal meeting schedule?

  1. One week before the event you will receive a preliminary meeting schedule by email (contains most of the meetings)
  2. 2-3 days before the event you get your final meeting schedule by email
  3. At the event reception desk you get the very final schedule as paper copy (taking into account last minute changes and cancellations)


What if, due to unforeseen reasons, I cannot participate in the matchmaking event?

Please inform the event organiser immediately.
If you have booked meetings/you have been booked for meetings, please get directly in contact with your meeting partners and tell them that you cannot keep the appointment.
