Describe your business and its collaboration wishes

  • Register your company for potential meetings
  • Describe your company's business and what type of collaboration you are interested in.
The more interesting your business profile and collaboration wishes are, the more business meetings you will receive. Remember - you are not selling what you do, but rather seeking to find new collaborative partners. Think about what you can offer and seek, rather than what you can sell.
from 20/2/16 - 1/3/16 Schedule your business meetings
  • Review the list of businesses registered to attend and their collaboration wishes
  • Send meeting requests to companies you wish to meet with
  • Meeting requests are automatically accepted (by default), but can be declined anytime later

Introduction

An organised matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to find potential new business partners.
People can meet, greet and discuss opportunities in a quick style format. Each meeting will last a maximum of 20 minutes. Then a bell will ring to sound the end of a meeting and the start of the next 20 minute meeting.

The workflow in detail

1) Online registration

Register online and submit your own collaboration profile.

In your profile you can state the kind of technology/experience/expertise you are offering, the kind of cooperation you are seeking, and the ideas you would like to discuss with potential collaboration partners.

All cooperation profiles will be published online and will be visible for all to see. However, you can change your profile at any time.

Note: The better the quality of your profile, the more meeting requests you will receive.
Your business profile/proposal is your business card, so it really pays to spend time writing a quality meaningful profile.

2) Promotion of published profiles

All published profiles will be extensively promoted by the organisers of the event. Furthermore, all participants of the event will view your cooperation profile. A statistical analysis of forty previous matchmaking events shows that quality meaningful profiles are visited many times BEFORE an event, and viewed again AFTER the event - up to 100 times more often than a poorly written profile.

3) Selection of bilateral meetings

Email notification
You will be informed by email when you can start booking meetings. Check which cooperation profiles are most promising. Intelligent search options allow a quick identification of the most suitable participants/cooperation profiles. Within a few minutes you should be able to identify potential business partners.

Booking of meetings
Once you have found the most promising business partners you can select them for meetings. You can add further meetings any time but please be aware that the bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served".

Your personal meeting schedule
A few days before the event you will receive your personal meetings schedule. You can check your meetings schedule online at any time. The meetings schedule will tell you the time of each meeting, the number of the table, and who you are going to meet.

Confirm your participation
The organizer needs to be sure that you will attend the event, so when asked to confirm your participation, please do so. This is particularly important when you have business meetings scheduled. Failure to confirm will mean the organizer will have to inform potential business partners that your participation remians uncertain. This causes additional work, reflects poorly on you and your business, and makes the event less reliable.

4) At the event

At the registration desk, you will receive an updated version of your meetings schedule including last minute bookings. Your personal meetings schedule will detail the names of your conversation partner and the number of the meeting table.

Our staff will be in attendance to assist you during the matchmaking event.
