How It Works

The annual EMVA Business Conference is the highlight event and meeting point for the European and global machine vision community. It combines interesting conference topics covering the different business segments Management, Technology, Innovation, Markets and Marketing  with outstanding networking opportunities. For us outstanding networking means to provide the necessary organisation and infrastructure for pre-scheduled bilateral meetings - often called "B2B meetings" or "matchmaking"!

Therefore this internet platform offers YOU the efficient and comfortable conference registration and meeting preparation at the same time. Providing your data only once you will be registered for the conference, your profile is recognized online and included in the printed Networking Guide.

The offered B2B meetings are a quick and easy way to meet other professionals. People meet and greet at high speed.
20 minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.
And you won't miss any topic of the conference as meetings are not overlapping!

 

1. Online registration

Register online for the conference, choose the events to participate, book additional side programms and submit your profile in only one process.

In your profile you may state - the option is called "cooperation profile" - what kind of technology/product/expertise you are offering, what kind of issues you are looking for and which ideas you would like to discuss with potential bilateral meeting partners.

All profiles will be published online and will be for everyone to see. You can change your profile any time.

 

2. Promotion of published profiles

All conference attendee's profiles entered in due time will be published in the printed networking guide handed out to all conference participants. Furthermore, a statistical analysis of 40 matchmaking events showed that high quality profiles are visited about 50 to 150 times BEFORE the event and will still be viewed AFTER the event.

 

3. Selection of bilateral meetings

Email notification

You will be informed by email when you can start booking bilateral meetings. Check which profiles of other participants are most promising. Intelligent search options allow a quick identification of the most suitable participants/cooperation profiles. Within a few minutes you should be able to identify future potential business partners.

Booking of bilateral meetings

Once you have found the most promising conference attendees you may select them for bilateral meetings. You can add further meetings any time but please be aware that the bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served". You are able to book meetings BUT you may also be booked for bilateral talks by other participants!

Your personal meeting schedule

A few days before the EMVA Business Conference you will receive your personal meeting schedule (furthermore you can constantly check your meeting schedule online). This meeting schedule gives information about the time, the number of the table and who you are going to meet.

The EMVA Team will be at your disposal during the whole conference and matchmaking sessions.
