Philippe DARMAYAN, President / Alliance pour l’Industrie du Futur

Since January 15th, 2015 Philippe Darmayan is President of ArcelorMittal France. He also is President of A3M (Alliance des Minerais, Minéraux et Métaux) that groups the French federations of ferrous and non-ferrous metals together and is President of the Groupe des Fédérations Industrielles (GFI).
In July 2015 he was appointed President of Alliance Industrie du Futur, an association whose the mission consists in the transformation of the French industrial tool in the digital age.
Philippe Darmayan has made his entire career in the field of metalworking industry (nuclear fuel, aluminium, carbon and stainless steels). He also was Chief Executive of APERAM until 2015 and has previously been Executive Vice-President of ArcelorMittal. He also was a member of the Executive Committee of the group and Chief Executive of the distribution department (ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions).
Philippe Darmayan is a graduate of HEC Paris.

Prof. Dr. Philipp SLUSALLEK, Director / DFKI (German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence)

Philipp Slusallek is Scientific Director at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) where he has been responsible for the research department “Agents and Simulated Reality” for over 6 years. Furthermore, he is Director of the “Intel Visual Computing Institute” at the University of Saarland where he has been helding a chair of Computer Graphics since 1999 and where he initiated the Cluster of Excellence “Multimodal Computing and Interaction” in 2007. Before he arrived in Saarland in 1999, he had been Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford University, USA. He studied Physics in Frankfurt and in Tübingen and received his doctorate in Informatics in 1995 at the University of Erlangen.

Olivier RONDU, Responsible for the platform Usine du Futur /Cea Tech Grand Est

With 18 years of experience in the industrial robotics sector, of which 5 years at the head of a business unit in the field of integration activities, and an MBA in strategic management (2014), Olivier Rondu is the manager of the platform Usine du Future at CEA Tech since September 2016. This platform is the technology research centre of the CEA Tech.

The platform Usine du Futur is able to unite manufacturers, technology providers, integrators and laboratories around issues in relation with the factory of the future. Established in the heart of the industrial site PSA Tremery and provided with a leading technology basis, the platform is opened to manufacturers of all sectors who want to test and develop new industrial technologies: collaborative robotics (cobotics), augmented reality for the operators’ assistance, virtual reality, connected logistics, systems connectivity and interoperability.

Prof. Dr. Dirk BÄHRE  / University of Saarland

 

Dirk Bähre studied mechanical engineering and wrote a thesis at the University of Kaiserslautern. Then he worked in the diesel systems division in the company Robert Bosch GmbH. He contributed to the development and to the launch of the injection systems production and led the development of the production technologies at the Hamburg site. Since October 2008 Dirk Bähre has a Chair of production technology at the University of Saarland.

 

 Nigel RAMSDEN

Nigel RAMSDEN, Responsible Technical Support Europe /  FANUC

Nigel RAMSDEN received his MSc from the Cranfield Institute of Technology and his BA from Oxford University. He is currently European Technical Support Manager of FANUC Europe Corporation Robotics Division. Prior to this he was FANUC Project Manager responsible for all General Motors robotics activities in Europe. In his current role he is responsible, among other things, for coordinating all FANUC Robotics development activities for Europe, as well as technical support for existing products. He holds several patents relating to innovation in the Automotive Industry.

Jürgen BARKE, State Secretary / Ministry of Economics, Labour, Energy and Transport

After his graduation as Public Administrator Specialist, Jürgen Barke worked as an Administrative Inspector at the Saarland Minstry of Economy before becoming Personal Assistant to the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy. In the further course of his professional life he was head of HR and procurator at the automotive supplier Michels GmbH. In 2002, he founded Jürgen Barke Consult (main fields of activity: project development and conversion management) which merged with KomCon GmbH Lebach in 2003 and extended its field of activity with M&A consulting in business restructuring processes, fiduciary investment management. Since 2012, Jürgen Barke is Secretary of State at the Saarland Ministry of Economy, Labour, Energy and Transport.

Grégory PLANÇON, Ergonomist / ARACT Grand Est (Regional Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions)

Grégory PLANÇON is an expert in the project management in the industrial sector. Since 2015 he works at the ARACT Grand Est. Integrated in the project team “Support for the technical and organisational work transformations” he supports very small businesses and SMBs in their transformation projects. These projects can be technical (integration of new technological tools…), and/or organisational (integration of Lean processes or night work in the organisations…). His skills and skills of the project team about the human beings’ functioning at work, contribute to meet the issue of women and men professional development, of their health and of the organisations efficiency. He was formerly trained at the Institut d’Etude du Travail in Lyon (IETL). He received his Master’s degree in “Ergonomics, health, security and company transformation management” in 2011 and was employed as internal ergonomist in the company CLAAS (agricultural equipment manufacturer).

 Patrick ROBERT

Patrick ROBERT, General Director/ ARPITEC

This 41-year-old Mosellan has realized his desire to do business eleven years ago by creating Arpitec, a company specialized in industrial robotics and integration. Its teams intervene on all industrialization projects, from the feasibility study to the realization of the installations. Already imbued with the 4.0, Arpitec also responds to collaborative projects that improve productivity while preserving the working conditions and health of employees.

Frédérik CAMBIER, Project Manager / TECHNIFUTUR

Frederik Cambier is a civil engineer (mines, geology and metallurgy). Graduated from University Libre de Bruxelles
He has worked during 10 years in Solvay, a Belgian Chemical company as researcher, and project manager in the fields of Automotive Industry (Injection and blow molding of plastics parts)
After Solvay, he has worked during 4 years in Valeo Lighting as responsible for the design department (conception of new lighting systems for cars).
After Valeo, he has worked one year as technical director, in Ymos, a supplier in plastic exterior parts for automotive industries
After Ymos, he has the opportunity to work in Sirris, a research center, during 10 years in the department of additive manufacturing and then he waw at the head of the nanomaterials department. He has the opportunity to create his own company in this domain (production of nanowpowders with a plasma torch)
At the present time, he is working in Technifutur, a technical training center in Wallonia where he is responsible of new training programs in relationship with the Factory 4.0.
The topic of my presentation will be : Factory 4.0: : Human Centered Production. 

 Dammin

Patrick DAMMIN, Project Manager, Senior Expert, Coach / XPULS GmbH

M. Dammin has been working in the company Xplus since 2002. He brings a support in process planning and in optimisation for the innovative projects of our clients in the technological branch.
Since 2006 he has been senior lecturer at various universities, including the RFH in Cologne in the fields of project management and IT as well as of economy and law.
With his broad experience and his strong expertise in Industry 4.0, M. Dammin is an expert of the topics “Ready for 4.0” and “process design for decentralised control”.
“The process analysis is put at the foreground of our service – because a bad process will not be better with the Industry 4.0… it only becomes more stable”.
