Business Connection Forum Brussels 2017

Business Connection Forum Brussels

On June 28th, Silicon Europe Worldwide and Enterprise Europe Network join forces in organising the Business Connection Forum in Brussels. This cross-sectoral matchmaking event provides you a great opportunity to meet with important actors active on the value chain of the digital technologies.

The collaboration of Silicon Europe Worldwide and Enterprise Europe Network reaches out to a high number of potential companies, on European and even on global level. As such, the Business Connection Forum will offer a real international platform for business matchmaking. The Silicon Europe Alliance unites the leading European digital technology clusters representing more than 2000 direct members. The Enterprise Europe Network is the world's largest support network for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) with international ambitions. It has 3,000 experts across 600 member organisations in more than 60 countries. Member organisations include chambers of commerce and industry, technology centres, and research institutes.

Digital technologies (micro- and nano-electronics, photonics, embedded software and ICT) act as key enablers in a diversity of application areas as there are: health, mobility, energy, telecommunications, smart cities, manufacturing of the future and many more.  Due to the ubiquitous nature of “digital technologies” in products and due to this industry’s role as an enabling engine for other industries, it plays a unique role in bridging the gap between what is currently technically feasible and what is still needed to create the products and solutions addressing grand societal challenges today and tomorrow. Companies and intermediate organisations active in technology development or in one or more of the application areas are invited to meet, exchange ideas and explore business opportunities.

This dedicated business to business matchmaking event will offer participants the opportunity to meet each other during pre-arranged 1-on-1 meetings. This very efficient format allows up to 10 high-quality meetings with leading executives of the industry in just 1 day.

As the event is organised alongside the Industrial Dialogue between Taiwan and the European Union it is also expected that connections can be made to representative Taiwanese companies and organisations.
