LET'S MATCH 2014

Welcome to LET'S MATCH Brokerage Event website, one intensive day of bilateral meetings that will take place in Bologna on October 1, 2014 among companies, research centres and universities, organized by ASTER-SIMPLER, in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network, CNR (National Research Council of Italy) and Apre (Agency for the Promotion of European Research).

The event will take place  in the framework of LET’S 2014 - LEADING ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES FOR SOCIETAL CHALLENGES (Bologna, September 29 - October 1, 2014), the international Conference organized by CNR, APRE and ASTER, in the context of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the Patronage of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Ministry of Economic Development and theMinistry of Foreign Affairs, and supported by European Union Funding for Research and Innovation.

More than 1000 delegates from all over the world are expected to attend the event to discuss how Europe can support the growth and the creation of new jobs and face societal challenges through new products, processes and services, creating opportunities for European actors. Researchers from both private and public organizations, investors, enterprises, SMEs and national and European policy makers will merge industrial leadership and societal challenges to create a new vision for a European Renaissance.

 Focus 

The b2b event will focus on the Work Program NMP+B Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies - Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing and will include those topic of the Societal Challenges defined in Horizon 2020, directly impacting on NMP+B.

Why to participate

The initiative aims  to develop technological and research cooperation agreements at national and international level mainly addressed to joint participation to Horizon2020 calls, offering the opportunity to organize one-to-one meetings, in order to:

  • present, discuss and develop new project ideas at international level
  • build quality partnerships in view of the new Horizon2020 calls
  • facilitate the setup of Horizon 2020 project consortia
  • start cross-border contacts and cooperations
  • participate in short, sharp 30 minute one-to-one meetings to foster effective networking

 

 Participation provisions

The registration to LET’S MATCH 2014 is free of charge. The participants to LET’S MATCH 2014 will have free access to the LET’S CONFERENCE on the third day only (1st October).The full access to the Conference (Sep 29 - Oct 1, 2014) requires the specific registration to the LET’S Conference website and the payment of a fee.
