Eurofinish 2011Innovation Seminar annex Matchmaking Event28th September, Ghent, Belgium
During the Innovation Seminar a selection of companies (max 20) will present their innovation or project idea in a short (5’)– elevator pitch – presentation in the morning. The audience can apply for one-to-one meetings lasting about 30 minutes each, with the presenters after lunch. Meetings can also be pre-booked through this matchmaking webtool. Five presentations (out of the 20) will be dedicated to early stage research ideas, for which a brainstorm session is foreseen during lunch break. In the afternoon face-to-face meetings will be held based on the received expressions of interest. Innovations and ideas that are not selected for the seminar are given the opportunity to present a poster, and are also available for booking one-to-one meetings. Moreover, opportunities for research funding will be presented at the seminar. EUROFINISH (a biannual fair) has become standard value in the world of surface treatment. More than ever the market is driven by new materials and by special functionalities currently built into surface coatings. Innovative measures are needed to meet these market expectations.
