Danube Region Business Forum

In accordance with DG Regio, EU-Commission, The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber is holding the first

in Vienna.

Our attempt is to bring together companies, especially SME via B2B meetings as well as the private sector with academia and the public sector of the Region to stimulate growth, innovation and competitiveness in the Danube Region.

The themes of this year’s Forum are:

1. Renewable energy an energy efficiency

Energy issues and the reduction of energy consumption are becoming ever more urgent. The aim is to present newest developments in this field.

2. Digital Agenda

Digital Agenda is a fast growing area. Latest developments in e-Government, the EU STORK project – to establish a European eID Interoperability Platform - will be presented as well as different ways of cross-border eCollaboration such as prototype eSolutions & eServices.
