BioForum 2011 as periodic event gathers enthusiastic and talented people from Central Europe, who are determined to take a challenge to build up their carrier in biotechnology-related research business. The scientific knowledge, skills and creativity meets business experience to generate a new biotech enterprises and form modern bioeconomy in countries of this region of Europe.

Focus
Since the year 2000 the main goal of BioForum is to create business networking between booming Central European BIOTECH and well-established US, and Western Europe biobusiness.
In an upcoming edition, BioForum focuses on biobusiness networking between Central Europe and Asia.
Successful bio-ventures are built on good technologies, good knowledge about the market and good relationships among the various players in the innovation biotech sector. With new technologies and business models evolving rapidly and more new players entering the marketplace, many new opportunities for biotechnology innovation and commercialization have emerged and new relationships need to be built. The BioForum is a unique, invaluable platform to achieve these! Convened annually, several thousand technocrats and business executives from more than 20 countries gather under one roof to network and explore new venture partnerships.
BioForum is an event, the aim of which is to support technology transfer from life sciences (biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.) to areas such as bioeconomy, health, production of drugs, cosmetics, food and the environment. BioForum gathered the trade fair and B2B meetings in one place at the same time and in this way BioForum is a platform for meeting research partners and it creates an excellent opportunity for establishing international contacts of biosector.
This year, BioForum celebrates its 10th anniversary. In addition to participants from the booming Central European biotechnology industry and the ones from the US and Western Europe, an additional focus has been adopted, namely "Central European and Asian Biotechnology Exchange: Outlook, Opportunities & Partnership", to exploit the trends of rapid development of bio-enterprises in Asia, especially in the greatly expanding economies of China and India.
In BioForum 2011, we aim at promotion and organization of networking between Central European and World entities within biobusiness sector. We also intend to promote biotechnological potential of Central European region as open to investors and biotech companies, and expand knowledge on commercialization and (bio)technology transfer.
