Horizon 2020 - Societal Challenge 6

Horizon 2020 - Societal Challenge 6

This international event will highlight research topics covered within the Horizon 2020 Programme and it’s call “Europe as a Global Actor”.

“Research and innovation have an important role to play in addressing the complex challenges with which the world is confronted and in strengthening Europe's role on the global scene” (Europe in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective Societies Work Programme 2014-2015).

Participants will have the possibility to participate in a matchmaking event according to the topics of the HOROZON 2020 open call “Europe as a global actor” (Societal Challenge 6). It will give participants the opportunity to join pre-arranged meetings with other participants in order to identify possible collaborators and to facilitate the setup of Horizon 2020 project consortia.

In addition to the matchmaking session the event offers an info session. The info day in the morning will focus on the policy context, funding opportunities and the open call for proposals. The info session will also highlight the experiences of successful FP7 projects and offer valuable insights for your proposal preparation.
